Using Buntings in the Baby Car Seat

When going somewhere on a car trip we tend to take a bag with baby buntings with us, especially in winter. What is the general purpose of using baby buntings? They are warm and deprive a small baby from the possibility of extra movement. Thus an infant can fall asleep quicker, have deeper rest and not hurt himself. They are widely spread and sold in the major stores of each and every small town and big city. But are they so secure when used in a car. The manufacturers of baby car seats don’t offer any warranty for their products if an infant put in the baby car seat is swaddled. There were no safety tests conducted for such cases. Theoretically, it can even lead to suffocation. So, please, avoid using buntings when transporting your child in the baby car seat. It can be dangerous. Instead you can tuck your baby with a blanket that will just cover the back and shoulders. This will not bring to suffocation but will definitely make the child feel warmer.
