I guess you could say I love to shop. To me shopping is like a marathon, you have to be in it for the long haul if you want to find the best deals out there. Each year I plan day after Thanksgiving shopping as well as my Cyber Monday shopping three days later. I always scan the internet for the best cyber Monday deals for 2014. The way I look at it, if you are not saving at least half off the normal purchase price then you are wasting your time. My family and friends are generally in awe of my talents as a shopper. At first they thought I was going a little too far, when I would camp out at the stores early in the morning, but they sure liked those great gifts they got each year at Christmas. The invention of internet shopping has taken my talents to a whole new level.
Internet shopping can be tricky, because some stores don’t play fair. They don’t let you get much of a preview of the actual item until the day it goes on sale. Those are the stores I tend to avoid. I want to be able to look at the description of the product and be able to do my own independent research on whether or not it is an actual sale of a item worthy of my attention or if they are trying to just clear out their inventory of old things. I have found both and I have been burned with both. But now I am an old pro, so it takes a lot to get something by me. But I still feel the excitement each year when I find that perfect gift for my Mom or Sister. Or even when I find that something special I had always wanted for myself, makes my Holiday a little brighter.
