Air Ambulance Solutions And Applications
An air ambulance is just what you might think it it; it’s air transport, typically by helicopter, of an injured person, equipped with various medical equipment, much like any and all of the things that you might find in a street level ambulance, the sort of moving truck, if you will, that races through streets, to get patients from point B to point C. What you won’t find in a street level ambulance that you will find in a helicopter, are all the equipment, devices, gear, etc. that inherently has to do with traveling in the air. There are devices and medication for cabin pressure sickness; there are devices and equipment that will deal with keeping a patient’s fractured limb particularly stable in a flying position. To a lesser extent, ambulances are outfitted from private jets. But this is costly and less practical, because of the requirement for an air strip or runway.
